19 records for Hanoi’s millennial anniversary

VietNamNet Bridge – The Vietnam Record Book Centre (Vietkings) has recognized 19 national records, including the tallest Bat Trang ceramic vase, the biggest lantern, the biggest turtle made from grilled squid, etc.

Chef Vu Van Vinh and his assistant made a turtle from grilled squid within eight hours. There were two other food-related recorded recognized at this time. The first is the longest rolled girdle cake which was made by 80kg noodle, 40kg beef, 40kg salad, 30kg onion, 20kg basil, 20kg cucumbers, 5l of fish sauce and 10kg sugar.

The second is the buffet party with the highest number of cuisines. From September 27 to October 2, 1,000 cuisines were introduced at the Culinary Festival in Hai Phong.

The most special record is “The Only To He Village in Vietnam”. This record was presented to Xuan La village in Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi, where has preserved the unique trade of making to he (toys made by colored rice flour).
